Valley Springs: Yes, even this far South, they are coming up with freeze warnings for tonight.

Starting out with 50 degrees today, cloudy, rainy. Probably no ride...I seem to be getting spoiled a little bit.

They are forecasting SNOW here this weekend!!

In the valleys 1- 3 inches and in the higher elevations could be more snow!

I remember those Minnesota fishing openers...they were usually the 2nd Saturday in May. Most were cold, rainy or snowy, and of course no fish. We did get to re-learn our camping and campfire skills though.

Today we are still getting snow flurries, temps in the 30's brrr. This morning there was about 1.5 inches of snow on lawn.

Valley Springs: Roller coaster weather here this week. Yesterday and today, rain and 40's. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Supposed to be more of the same the rest of the week, with one exception, temps will shift into mid to high 70's, with a CHANCE of rain.

Next Monday is supposed to be high 70's with sun.

We are finding the 7 day forecasts to be pretty much on the money here. At least they get that information right. Now, if they only had a master control panel.

We will probably dodge the showers from tomorrow on and get some more riding in.

Son wants to get the drone out and start shooting following videos for different rides for D3WR and YouTube. Did one on Iron Mt. rd going around the pigtail bridges from above among other things which turned out pretty cool.

Beautiful area. Last time there in May, it was snowing. I cancelled my Spyder rentals from the Rapid City dealer and drove in the cage instead.

Valley Springs, so far 10:00 AM. Almost 80 degrees. Partly sunny. Looks like another ride day. We will try to enjoy it for all of you who are still not riding regularly. Darn...I am loving N. W. Arkansas.

Coming up on one year ago today that we moved into the new home. We were at Dawson Creek, the start of the Alcan Hwy. in Canada (heading out forever), a year ago today.

Today's high hit temps in the 60's and we had sun all day!!!!


Tommorow temps in the 60's,and rain all day.

Saturday/Sunday temps in the 60's sunny. Next week the temps in the 70's to near 80!!!!!!

The Weather People are saying Rain all weekend. We had 1.2" of rain yesterday. Go fishing in the rain. Friday high 77,° all day rain, Saturday high 78° cloudy and more rain, Sunday high 72° and rain. Enjoy your weekend and stay dry. .....

When you come out of the house at 6am into a light snow and there’s ice on the bike cover you leave the cover on the bike and take the car to work..... ahhhh, Newfoundland,!!

Last week we had snow (poor Mans fertilizer) I had 1.5 inches of snow on the ground, and had snow on my spyder which was covered, with a full cover.

I said to my boyfriend jokingly " To get a the sleds back out" Not! It felt like winter!

We just came out of that, sumps been running pretty steady. Yesterday tried to ride but with 40 kt wind gusts it wasn’t any fun. Today is supposed to be much less windy and in the mid to upper 80’s so I must ride.

We have started off the week with some rain showers, 60's, and high winds. Not perfect, but in Alaska, this was considered warm weather riding.

We have ridden both days, and have encountered sprinkles. Have not been soaked yet...so that is good. It is "supposed" to get up into the 70's the rest of the week. The weather here is setting all time "low" records. Whooda thought?

105 miles in the Hills today. Low 80's, clear sky, just about perfect. Seeing more tourists every time we go out. Think New York had the majority today. Did the Wildlife loop for the 1st time on the Spyder. Buffalo seem much bigger then when in the Excursion...
