Dealer can't get parts from Canada
Well, I am sure you can guess why. I need a new brake peddle and I have been waiting two weeks now. My Ryker is just a paper weight till then.

Can’t understand why dealer can’t get parts.....borders still open to highway haulers, truckers are still hauling in both directions. I think I’d try another dealer, that doesn’t make sense, unless i’m missing something.

Several online retailers have OEM parts in stock. I would call them before you order to confirm the parts are readily available.

Your dealer is waiting on more orders so shipping would be free, they dont want to pay for shipping.

That makes sense, not that BRP won’t ship or can’t ship. I repeat, try another dealer. Your other option, of course, would be to try one of our sponsors....just needs a little legwork.

The factory is pretty much shut down so shipping may not be happening as often as it normally does.

Dealer now says June 18th on the hitch and May 11th on the RT Rear Panel. He also said he wouldn't put money on it.

I have been waiting to pick mine up since Wednesday, the dealer in Canada is waiting on getting parts even here in Canada shipping at the moment is slower than ever before. They are replacing a transmission sensor.

I looked up my ryker and they don't have the part I need. Is there a way I can find the part number of the ryker brake peddle?

Rogue,
I went here:
https://can-am.brp.com/on-road/ca/en...ts-iframe.html
Exploded view and parts breakdown. It also says free shipping.

I looked at the 2020 Ryker Rally Edition, and it's listed (the main heading) in the left column 06 Hydraulic Brake; the breakdown for it shows the brake pedal. I didn't know your model or year, and I'm sure you rather look up yourself. The price was $90 and some change (CAD).

Contrary to popular belief BRP does not have a huge warehouse here in the U S for parts. Contrary to another popular belief dealers do not order parts from CA-NA-DA! The system that is used ( I know it sounds crazy but it is true) is that it is a parts sharing system. A dealer in the U S has any given part for any model. Dealers order from each other for any given part. The system is monitored 24/7 to make sure any given part is at at least one dealer in the U S. Some car companies do the same. They save tons of money by doing it this way. Dealerships provide and house stock and also handle the distribution among themselves here in the U S.
i.e. all dealers have access to this site and order parts from each other and the dealer that has the particular part is restocked from BRP CA-NA-DA. At least that's how Ride Now Sports (40+ dealerships that is owned by the Coulter family) explained it to me. I have ordered a lot of Can AM Spyder and Maverick parts and they came from all over the country, never from BRP Canada. Unless a recent change I would believe this to be true. I know, this sounds wacky to me too. The former CEO of Ride Now Sports bought a house from my wife and told me this. He married one of the Coulter daughters.

I found the part. It's '705601741 Pedal Brake, B-160 Deep Black' https://can-am.brp.com/on-road/ca/en...ts-iframe.html
The mechanic that helped me said they get their parts from Canada. I will call them tomorrow.
