Ryker pedal travel sensor

Does the ryker have a pedal travel sensor? I can't find anything online saying they do, nor in any of the technical sheets have I found one. My brother is a paraplegic and we're moving the brakes to the handle bars and making the pedal obsolete. Just wondering if there's anything else I need to think about other than the brake switch near the foot.
