    Default Relocation kit

Hi all I am toying with buying instrument relocation set up I know a member has done . My? Is how do you change any settings on instrument gauge, do you stop and get off? My eye sight is ok for long distance, but will I be able to see speed / petrol/ mileage etc .I like the idea of it looking sporty, but not unless I can see it. It's I big gamble paying out for conversations then not seeing the readouts best regards nico 75

Nico75, perhaps this will help. Here is a short video of
what it looks like with the gauge relocator installed and driving:

As for changing the settings, say to Sport Mode, I can reach over the bars and touch the setting buttons.

Hi cjc96ryker thanks for video, its helpful to me I do like it . Did you have the new bar mounts as well? I suppose when new panel is removed its quicker to get to top of engine to do maintenance ie remove panel's, disconnect new extension cable . It's better than taking out frunk thanks for reply nico 75

Nico75, yes I installed the new handlebar stem along with the sport handlebars. You
do have the option of just leaving the adjustable handlebar stem in place if you like
so you won't lose the adjustability.

cjc96ryker, Thank you for that video. I had not seen it from a rider perspective.

My handlebar is somewhat twisted to the left. I can remove the 8mm bolt and washer, and am aware of 18 ft/lb torque for assembly. but how did you pull/loosen up the stem. I read something about a stem puller. Did you use one, and if so where can I purchase one. I apologize this reply is slightly going off track. But your help will be greatly appreciated.

Canamryder, I had to go purchase the stem puller from my dealer. The part number
was 529 036 459. I also had the new stem a little to the left. I found the powder coat a
little heavy on one side so I shaved it off and now perfectly straight.

Thanks for your help. I'll give my dealership a call. I'll either ride over there (25 miles) and hope for a short wait, or have them ship me one if not too expensive (for a one time use?)
