Baloo is my name. Spyders are my game. Well, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, yes, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, I mean a doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee-dee-doo. And, well, now. Ha ha! What have we here?

If it was not correct at time of delivery, why did you buy it and take on the headaches ??
-
BRP is gonna fix it, minor inconvenience. Odd not done off the line, thought BRP had the fix and the Marcela was the last machine built. Dealers are supposed to have the fix package any day now. Just my thoughts, not worth much.

I thought the parts for that particular fix weren't going to be available until 30 April anyway, so it's probably not too surprising; even if that's still the case & those particular parts haven't been delayed....

That was what I have been told as well. The brake fix part will be out at end of the month. I was at dealership getting ready to pick ours up when the “stop sale” order came down so now we are 2 1/2 weeks later and still waiting. Have all our gear and even insurance on the bike but no bike yet Hopefully we get a notification in the next few days letting us know it is ready for pickup.

I agree with biker01red. I would not have accepted delivery of a machine that was not right and had ill fitting parts. At a minimum that would have put pressure on the dealer to make it right . . . JMHO

Interesting as my dealer has received all the brake fix parts weeks ago!

Agree PW, my brake recall done almost two weeks ago.

I picked up my 2020 red last Friday April. 23.and was told there were no recalls on it that the brakes were ok and body panels were ok. I did not check my panels I will today to make sure but they did have a gray one that cam in the same time as mine and they remove the seat.to look and it did have the panels mount properly srews in place no wire ties

Yes, very unfortunate. And arguably inexcusable. But it is what it is. BRP ran into problems that they must take the blame for, whether or not it was actually their fault. Cash flow is always critical with a company like this. And especially in these trying time where everyone is trying to survive.
Hopefully, BRP will make it right. They say they will and I expect that they will come through. They have always played the long game. I think everyone will be fine when it is all over. And enjoying their new Spyder in the mean time.

on your new 2020 RT in Marsala Red. A very beautiful color indeed.
BRP is supposed to make good on the panels and the brakes of course are a no-brainer. This is currently a bad time for everyone. Things are moving way slow or not at all. Give them a chance.
And remember, there are good dealers and not so good ones. That also comes into play. IMO, big time.

Mine is still waiting for pickup in Nashville at the dealer. The part was supposedly coming two weeks ago and still waiting. Where did you pick yours up at?
-
Do you mind giving me the dealer you got your bike from, my guy said he would get the part elsewhere but cannot find one and said we are waiting on BRP. This is a little disappointing as I drove up to pick up 3 weeks ago and before we left the stop sale came out. Financial done and insurance already in place but no bike.

I picked up my 2020 RTL Anthracite Grey on March 9th. The rear panels are OK, no problems.
I called my dealer on April 2nd for the brake recall right after it was posted on this site.
They made the repair on April 15th while I waited, it took about 35 minutes. The tech was able to do it without removing as many parts as the BRP instructions suggest.
Incidentally, just yesterday, April 28th, I received the formal recall notice in the mail from BRP. The letter is dated April 1, mailed from Canada. I can't find a postmark, so I have no idea when the letter was actually mailed.
If it ain't broke, don't break it.

Saddlebag figment parts have been pushed out until 5/5. Trailer hitch kits have been pushed out to 6/15. I am at my dealer now. This is disappointing to say the least.

I just got through talking to my dealer on this trailer hitch that was ordered in December. I have already paid for with installation.
Now they're telling me July 2.
What is going on BRP.
Coronavirus or no Coronavirus
This is a joke

I just spoke with my parts guy and he said June 18th for the hitch and May 11th for the RT Rear Panel for my 2020 RT Limited. He also said he wouldn't put money on those dates.

What did they quote you for installation?

This is what I paid for everything witch included insulation of trailer hitch.
I bidded it out to three dealers and with every thing including taxes and all accessories
and instillation. I do not mind posting it here for others to see.

You posted on a earlier post
(I paid $24,000.00 plus tax for my 2020 RT Limited, Dark. That included a $500.00 BRP coupon for taking a demo ride0
Maybe paid to much but I am satisfied with it.
Now you and me have the same problem. A trailer with no trailer
hitch. I also had my painted like yours and will pick it up Monday.
I am really pissed off at this because I blame BRP for not having any
thing ready for this new model when they should have before any
coronavirus. The dealers are jest pawns in this like me.
We are the customers that BRP makes their biggest profit on and knowing
many of the touring RTL will have a BRP trailer also, to not have the hitch
6 months or maybe 7 later after the new model is out is a joke to BRP
on us with on excuse, and this is after 4 other Spyders I have owned.
I have been here from the beginning .
I know that all I can do is complain about it now, but this my change my
attitude on future purchases from them.
Also having a problem with the rear saddle bags and fit is really making
me change my mind about their quality of their product.
Sorry about all the venting
Bill
