    Default Turn Signals

I have a 2019 F3t and I'm not sure about how to work the turn signals. They work just fine in either direction and go off after a turn. But if they get switched in either direction by accident and I want to switch them off I'm doing something wrong. As I read the owners manual all you need to do is push the switch in. When I do that it either goes in the other direction or nothing at all.
I realize this isn't a real big deal but it's just aggravating.

Yeah, I had the same problem. It has taken me quite a while, but I have finally developed the right touch. It does cancel them, but it isn't as easy as my Gold Wing was. When you push, it just has to go straight down, and not too hard. Keep trying.

.... the switch seems to have very fine line between on and off ..... the slightest variation from " doing it perfect " will get the wrong desired result .... Mike

Yes, a common problem. There is a fine line where the self cancel works/don't work. A straight push is required. Any deviation one way or the other will mess you up.

A quick "double push" seems to work best for me.

Being a newbie, first ride I found that cancelling the turn signal was a pain. Then I found out that you have to push IN the switch, not try to push it side-to-side to cancel. It's pretty firm too.

Thanks for that tip -- I'm going to have to try it next time on the road, because after 2+ years, I still have to check to make sure I'm not broadcasting "I'm an idiot, I'm an idiot..." after a lane change.
