    Default 2020 RT Panel Removal

Im trying to access Gps plug on the right side. I am unsure how to remove the panels to get to it.
Is there any videos or instructions how to do it? Ive searched the forums with no luck.

Raise the seat and you will see a label that says PULL, pull that then work your way pulling the panel towards the front of the bike.

I have read the BRP service manual through a few times and it does not explain the order or exactly where the fasteners are located. Screws yes, but not the pull apart connectors. Just looking at the number of body panels held by push tabs, these are going to have broken tabs as they age due to the number of them involved in service. Those wedge tabs are not intended for multiple use removal and reinstall at every oil change.

I await a training video to explain the sequence and position of all the tabs. It will get sorted in time.

Email me at robhowen@gmail.com and I'll share the pdf that I created. It's too large to post here.

I saw that you listed "Garmin 590 with BRP Mount" as one of the options that you have.
I purchased a 2021 and wondering where you made your purchase?

To get to the gps plug on the right side you only need to pull 3 pieces of tupperware and 2 of those pieces are small and just pull off by hand (clips). The long piece that stretches up to the front by the frunk is held with 3 large torx screws, 2 push pins and several clips.

I have removed all 3 pieces numerous times on my 2020RT and it takes me about 7 minutes now. Putting them all back on takes about 10-15 minutes because I have to fiddle with that long plastic piece up around the shock absorber mount where there is a clip which always eludes me ......

Invest in push pin puller pliers ($15-20) if you are going to do much work on your Spyder - it will save you a lot of time.
