I hope you all in good health and doing well. I have plenty of time with current lock down, so I made myself new windshield. I had old Harley Davidson RoadKing short windshield laying around. I decided make myself new windshield out of it. I do have the OEM windshield that I am not found of it. Here are the steps. Cut about 6" off from the bottom drilled 4 holes to mounted on the OEM windshield bracket. I can still open the front frunk. Took it for 30 mile ride I am impressed. It's ultra quite while going 70 mph. Here is the sample, I am going to find tune it bit more next week.
I had the chance to modify it bit more today, and here is the final product. I cut about 5 more inches off from the bottom, 2" off the top and 1" off the sides. Looks and feels much better. Took it for 100 mile ride mix of highway and back roads. It's just perfect for me now. No more buffeting and bugs.
You must have plastic cutting blade and use heat gun in very low (hair drier in high) setting while cutting. Also use minimum of 3 layers of masking tape on both side.

I dunno Switch, maybe cutting that extra 5" off the bottom wasn't such a great move!!
From your pics, it looks like you now have some critters hitting the windscreen and getting jammed up INSIDE the windscreen!! And how bleedin' fast was that doggo going to get right up there thru that little gap?? Or was it you going that fast??

Your initial post (prior to cutting off the bottom of the screen) commented about how quiet it was behind the screen. Has that changed after removing the bottom?

No it didn't change at all. Now it looks and fits better on the bike. No vibration, it had little vibration before trimming. I can see over the windscreen rather then looking thru it. It was like having piece of plywood now it is more like it was made for the bike.
