    Default 2014 ST Coolant Question

Hi all my wife’s 2014 ST has a coolant leak I just noticed as I was brining it out of hibernation. It looks to be orange in color I’ve read where only green is mentioned. I’m getting ready to pull the right side panels and check the hoses and get a better look at the coolant tank. My question is what type of orange coolant or can you mix colors. Thanks Michrick

    DO NOT MIX
Dilute with water will do & better than risking mixing. & might want to consider replacing stock clamps with regular screw type hose clamps if & while you have tupperware off

Thanks Bfromla for the advice. I plan on tackling the Tupperware this week, hopefully no issues.

Thanks larryd I plan on calling my local dealer today to see if they are open. If not this project will be put on the back burner for a bit. Be safe

IMG_0929[1].jpg Orange XPS extended life coolant part number 779150 in the quarts; our 1330 F3T took 4 qts, but your 990 may take less.

    Default Is the coolant proprietary?

Couldn't the same extended life coolant be bought from an auto parts store a lot cheaper and perhaps easier?
