Default 2018 F3L: Aux Plug for dash

Is there a separate volume control for the Aux plug? I plugged my GPS wiring harness into the aux plug, turned all of its volume controls to 100% and the dash volume control 100% and I can just barely hear the GPS unit on the speakers. What am I missing?

Maybe the speakers in the GPS are loud enough to hear? Mine is and I have a quiet helmet.

I do not use AUX but I know Volume on the bike was low before the 20.8 update came out. Does your bike have that update.

There is an update to 30. something. it is on the new RTL and F3L I confirmed this when I was at the dealer a few weeks ago. I scrolled thru settings to about section on both models and it was there. Do no know what the update will do.

lamonster has a video about how they got a zumo XT working with music but doesnt mention the xm. Im trying to get my 665 to show up on my 2014 RT and bought their entertainment harness but it appears its for their add on XM radio not to get XM on a Garmin.

AbNormy, Try using the 665 only, blue tooth the phone to the 665 and then add your helmet. There are separate connections in the 665 menu for them. If you just want the 665 output on the spyders speakers, you might be able to use the adaptor plug (looks like headphone plug)that fits the connection in the trunk. Run an extension from the rear to the 665 aux output, then select aux input on the spyder dash screen. Make sure ALL volumes are 100%. You may have the same problem I am having, very low volume as the aux output of the 665 is very weak.
