Welcome to the Forum proper & posting, Leonardo. I think that what you are saying/asking is correct!

Here in Australia, our RT's and F3's have similar lighting arrangements to what you have over there in Europe/Italy; and both your and our HIGH beam lights are where the North American Spyders have both their High & Low beams, only theirs are powered by one single globe per light assy with a shutter arrangement to give the different beam patterns & light outputs. Our LOW BEAM lights are the same as the Euro spec lights in that they are down where the North American FOG lights are. And when we switch our lights from LOW beam to HIGH beam, the LOW beam lights go OUT, & vice versa!! So if that's what yours is doing, then that is standard and correct for all Euro and Australasian RT & F3 Spyders!

However, it's not very hard to modify the wiring & add a relay so that your Low beam lights stay on ALL the time (see Pogo 4 Eyes) and there are also some Australian &/or New Zealand Spyders/F3's that have fitted dual filament Hi/low beam globes to the Upper lighting positions, with the wiring modified to work both Hi & Lo beams from up there, with a set of extra lights installed on a separately switched circuit to power another set of globes down in the former Low or N/American Fog position. Depending upon what globe size &/or beam pattern you choose for those lower lights, you can set them up as Fog lights, Driving or Spot Lights, or Daytime Running Lights.

All the 1330 Spyders have enough electrical power from their alternators to run an extra set of lights like that, but you need to be a little careful if you try to do that on a 998 V-Twin powered Spyder, cos the twins with their magneto don't have quite the same electric power output to spare!

Over to you, & Good Luck! Stay safe & healthy, and enjoy the Miles of Smiles your Spyder can bring!

    Cheers
