    Default License Plate Access

I got my handicap license plate, but cannot figure out how to access the nuts on the bolts through the plate holder. There is insufficient clearance between the rear fender/extension to get a wrench in there. It would appear I have to remove the fender extension, but I don't see how. The manual diagram shows the extension attached with two plastic rivets, but there is some kind of interlocking mechanism. Just removing these is insufficient. Its a 2019 F3L.

Anyone know how to get to the license plate nuts?

It's a pain in the ass. Have a new 18 F3L. Used a box end on inside socket outside. Got started by hand then used wrenches. Had to pull the back fender out as far as i could by hand. Thought it was going to break but i got it. It can be challenging and a must have patience Good Luck
