    Default Shocks and Plastic Removal

    I just ordered full set of Elka Stage 4 shocks. How much plastic (panels) d you have to remove, especially on the from to replace the shocks. I know I will beed to remove some on the rear. Thx in advance

    You shouldn't have to remove any panels.
    Ours is a red, black and chrome 2017 F3 Limited. Bought new in 2/2019. The avatar is my first bike back in 1952, a Simplex Servi-Cycle. Photo taken at the Barber Museum.

    Nothing needs to be removed to do the fronts, just use a jack to take the load off the tire.

    There was Video also from m2 shocks posted how to remove the shocks. Now I dont have a F3 but a RT and didn't have to take any panels off to do mine. Went thru the side with a 15 MM socket and extension by the saddlebags and a offset 15mm wrench for the lower end. Jack up the bike a bit and remove the hardware. It was a bit tight on the upper shock bolt for the RT not sure how tight the area is on a F3 .

    2016 F3-T SE6 Roadster , Extended brake pedal for which I drilled out the brake rod yolk to lower it and added spacers to lift it slightly Black/Grey
