In another post Aspen Trailers is described as one of the motorcycle oriented businesses ceasing operation. I am wondering what other camping trailer manufacturers are left? Also do you have such a beast, which one and how do you like it and how much do you use it? How much did it affect your gas mileage? Did you buy used or new?

I don’t camp anymore, so I sold my camping trailer, but I had a Lees-ure Lite tent trailer. They’re made in Canada, and I know that there are US retailers. They’re made specifically for M/C and small cars. I pulled it with my Honda 1330 VTX and didn’t know it was there when travelling. Do a Google search.

That's what we have. Bought new a year ago. Tows easily and sets up quickly. We just got back from a 3 day trip to Organ Pipe Cactus NM; we use it quite a bit during the winter here in the Southwest. Mileage affected about the same as with any of our trailers; about 25 percent less when towing.
We have a Aspen and have used it on many trips for the last 6 years , last year we took it on our Coast to Coast , 66 days 11,000 mile trip, having it allowed us more freedom to camp or hotel it if the weather was bad. I even have room to take a small porti-potty so my wife does not have to venture out at night. It affects the mileage but not much as we seldom travel at speeds over 60. 9EF02ED9-DA9D-4AC0-8F13-1388EDEDBFCB.jpg0958B8DF-73B9-4CE0-98DB-8CC5E596CCC2.jpg9514BD03-08CE-4C39-AA5F-13C8AA9F1590.jpg
I bought a 2016 Aspen Classic last August to pull behind my F3L and used it one time last fall. I just sold my F3L and am buying a 2020 RTL. I hope to use it a few times this year.

Last year, " JoeltheBiker " built a "sort of " tear drop trailer that was roomy and most of all fairly light weight (compared to commercial types ) …. Yea it was a DIY, but He did a nice job. …. He didn't spend much which is a plus if it only gets occasional use ….. just a thought ….. Mike

We had a Quick Camp motorcycle trailer and loved it when we had the Harleys. Sold it with the Harley. We towed it and camped in many provinces and states plus to Mexico and Alaska. They sold out. Very easy to tow but never towed anything with th Spyder.

Sold my Aspen Classic last year. What a great trailer that was. Towed it with my Goldwing and had many good trips with it. If I were to buy another one it would be a Roll-A-Home standard model. Don't plan on towing with my Spyder though.
Due to things being extremely slow we will not be attending any rallies this year however we have Roll A Home family all over the United States so if you want to see a roll a home in person, send us an email at rollahome@yahoo.com and we will set you up with the closest person to you!

Yes I saw that. There was also a post from someone else in the motorcycle slow down thread about them being slow this year. Anybody know of any used pop up tent trailers for sale in the intermountain west?

I have one of these. I've used it for a few long trips. I really don't think it the greatest for more than solo riding but many have. You can get them new from the manufacturer, great to work with and well built. You might check motocamper.com for some insight to others.
Thanks for all the replies and suggestions. One of my friends From Temple Riders decided that he and his wife were done with camping and sold me his Kwik Kamp. It is older but in great shap and it was cheap enough that if I don't like it I can resell it for what I paid.
