We have 60 and cloudy today. No snow of course. Leaves coming out on trees, and pastures getting more green each day.
Next weekend Thurs-Sun they are predicting sunny and high 60's and possible 70's in places. So far, the weather predictions have been right on in my area.
We saw many bikes out yesterday, next weekend, they should be coming out of the woodwork.
What a difference a year makes...in AK I always looked at March 31 and later for that first 40 degree...chilly ride. This year, in AR, I have never put the bike away. Even rode on New Years day...because I could.

I agree,At the end of March that I'll put my sled away, and then bring out the spyder of hibernation.

NW Iowa, temps are warming up and snow is melting. Taking the Spyder to the dealership in Worthington,MN., today to have some work done before riding season begins. Trailering it there and hope roads are dried enough, when it is done, to ride it home. But we can still get slammed with lots of snow in March, and sometimes into April.

Some of those March/April snowstorms can be that worst that Mother Nature will throw at you. Been there, and done that.

But at least with the Blizzards this time of year they are only a few days and it warms right back up afterwards (usually).

That is true. Hope we actually have a decent spring this year. Last year was a mess, with rain and late snow.

Spyder is at the dealer, they are getting it ready for riding season and checking a few things that cropped up on the last ride before putting into storage in November. New storage location does not have electricity, so I was very pleased when it started right up, so I could drive it onto the trailer. Decided not to ride it the 45 miles to the dealership, as I noticed a coolant leak when I checked on it at the storage unit. When I am done teaching classes in May, I hope to take off for a few days on the Spyder.

After 20 years of teaching at UAA, I don't miss the classes anymore. My last was May 2019.

Mid 70’s today. Taking the bikes up to Deadwood. Want to park beside a couple snowmobiles and high snow banks and take a few pictures. Could have skied in shorts yesterday. Welcome to Spring in South Dakota.
