After riding with my wife I have decided that I don't want them that close to my body so the dealer is going to change out the handlebars for me to the next size (which I think he called position B but I am not totally sure). Though I am waiting for the heated comfort seats to be installed to see if that makes a position difference.
Do you think you could post a few pictures of the short reach bars on your 2020 RTL? Plus ones with you sitting on your RT and your hands on the grips. Lots of pictures is not too many. Thanks.

    Copperman,
I decided to go out and try some pictures, sorry none with me on it. I tried putting a tape measure on when I could get it to stay in the wind.
The first image is the distance from the center of the seat to the handlebar and the tape body adds 3 1/4"

The second is an attempt to measure the handlebar length.
    IMG-1719.jpg
The third is an overhead view with me standing on the passenger foot rest.
    IMG-1720.jpg
The rest are also probably obvious.

Hope this helps, I probably should have removed the garbage can.

Let me know if you have any other questions. I am going to see the dealer on Monday to take some 360 degree photos of his place to put on Google for him.

Here is a picture of the new Helibars installed on a 2020 RT.
Easy to install and will fit anyone. If you sell your bike put the old ones back one and sell them.
This one is set up about 1 1/2" closer and 3 1/2" taller then stock. The difference in comfort is dramatic.

Thanks to all of you, now we know that there is enough wire length.
