Default Does warranty cover rust on wheel locks?

I know I can get sand paper and lube and etc and do this. Just wondering since my warranty is good until June if this is covered. It has rust on all three wheels

Highly doubtful that rust would ever be covered on anything unless it's proven to be caused by a production flaw.

Rust on wheels ???? …. …. I'm pretty sure they are alloy wheels that don't contain any iron in them .... Mike

The center hub the wheel mounts on is steel. Might even be cast. At any rate its not coated with anything and it does rust. I noticed for 2020 BRP has some plastic covers for the hub. I'm sure they would fit on a 2019.

We use a master cylinder hone on a electric drill. Remove the clip, run the hone in, and remove the rust. Lightly oil, and put caps on. I found some at Home Depot that fit. Rubber drain plugs work, too. Bare metal rusts. Rust is not a warranty item.

The only way the warranty will cover this is if you print out the warranty and then paste it over the rust.

Do you have a photo or description of the plugs you use? I like that idea. I've never noticed anything like that at HD, but I mostly frequent Lowes as it is closer and more convenient. If it is too much trouble, don't worry about it. If it is a "drain plug" then I can find it.

The " Hub " is Not the wheel / rim or any part of the wheel. If you want to post contradictory comments, don't you think they should be accurate ????.……. Mike

I’ll see what I can do; I’m out of town, but, there is a Home Depot.

What are you talking about? The hub is what the wheel mounts to.

Hubs on the Rykers? The area that I believe that is in question is the inside diameter of the steel AXIL. That is the threaded part that the well known wheel nuts thread on to. I first heard of these rusting last Fall. Mine looked OK, but I did spray a couple shots of rust preventative in that area. I'll wait until after a couple good down pours to wash the salt off the roads up here in Norther Illinois to wake my Rally up from its hibernation. Plugs do sound like a good idea though, as an extra precaution.
