When the Can-Am Drivers backrest first came out it did not have adjustment but you could get an upgrade kit from BRP to achieve this
See:-
ADJUSTABLE DRIVER BACKREST SUPPORT UPGRADE KIT
· Kit adds tilt adjustment to previous
generation driver backrests (219400358, 219400479, 219400480, 219400481).
For Production Seats
219400682
· Kit adds tilt adjustment to previous generation driver backrests (219400478, 219400488, 219400489, 219400490).
For Comfort Seats 219400683
Later Drivers backrest seat did come with the adjustment added
Just be aware if buying a used Drivers Backrest

If you haven't already bought the BRP backrest, I would look at what " Utopia " has for the F-3. I have owned quite a few Touring bikes and to every one, I have added a Utopia. IMHO it's the best backrest made …… good luck …. Mike

Yes, there is an adjustment screw. In fact I replaced the factory screw with a longer one in order to get enough forward lean to fit me.
I hope this helps.
If it ain't broke, don't break it.
