Well, we finally made it home. After some anxious moments with the trade. Started the bike(F3L) in the garage this morning. As I was backing out I get a CEL and Limp mode warning. WTF? Ran it up and down the street, it was fine. Headed off to the dealer, made it there, no problem. Salesman rode it, it was fine. So they hooked up the buds. Cam Position Sensor. was the code. It meant one of two things. Either the cam was bad, it was running, so not that. So they said it was the sensor. No problem, still had some warranty left. On to building my RTL. After several hours, I was on my way home. So, here are some pics. Tom
Baloo is my name. Spyders are my game. Well, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, yes, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, I mean a doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee-dee-doo. And, well, now. Ha ha! What have we here?
When I test drove my 2018 limp mode kicked in and I had to wait 2 hours for them to charge the battery before I could finish my test drive! It left a bad taste in my mouth, but turned out to be the only problem my bike has seen. I hope the same for you!
You did good!! That's gonna get compliments wherever you go with it. Wishing you many miles and smiles.

On the new 2020 Spyder RTL!! That is one awesome looking Spyder, I love the chrome. I don't remember see the wheels on the build set up. I like them
Edit that looks like a dark with chrome , nice! touch
You nailed it. I had car tires on my F3L and they were like new. I asked if he wanted to swap tires and wheels. So I ended up with the chrome rims from my F3 on the RTL Dark. Tom

Very good move. The 2020 RTL chrome edition wheels just don't look good to me. I do like the ones on the dark version. But you truly got it right with the combination that you are using. Congrats, and enjoy.

Looks fantastic, Tom....when you say “on to building my RTL”, what else did you do apart from wheels?
Pete
Pete they hadn't started building my bike when I got there. They sold 5 bikes last weekend and were backed up. They also wanted to check my F3 to make sure it wasn't serious. Then they lost a tech when he got his finger caught in a Triumph sprocket. Ripped the top of his finger off. Plus the Kawasaki trailer got there with 13 demos for riding. Long day. Tom
