Default 2020 1/2 mid model year release, a nice Can Am, light and fast.

Ok, so its 45 years young, still way fast back then. And then they simply walked away.

What I gathered from the BRP history video someone posted a link to recently, was that BRP had developed such a hot bike that it actually scared them. The market wasn't experienced and capable enough to ride them without a high probability of disaster. I think maybe they were concerned that hot bikes ridden by idiots was going to end up in huge lawsuits they had no desire to deal with.

My buddy had one when first out and yes they were fast. He was an experienced rider and no one on other makes could keep up.
