The best time to buy a vehicle is late in the day on the last Saturday of the month, or maybe the last day of the month. If the dealer hasn't made his quota for the month he'll be more willing to deal. If he won't deal on the last day he sure isn't going to deal any better early in the month. One of the best deals I ever made on a car was between 5 and 6 pm on the last Saturday. Handed the salesman a check made out to the dealership with the amount I was willing to pay filled in, and the title for the trade in. I said all I have to do is sign these two pieces of paper, you take them, and you will have sold the car. I drove it home!
