That looks like a solution that many Ryker owners are going to like. Based on what I saw, I could even do the installation. Whooda Thought?

Thanks GKamer, I saw this set up advertised but not the install video. Looks easy to install. I wonder if the side bags are mounted strong enough to not shake when ryding? If so, I am very interested. cueman

I'm sure they are. What surprises me is that BRP didn't think of this themselves.....

I wonder the quality of these bags? I see the top case lid has the hinge moulded into the top and bottom half’s. I see this design quite often on cheap eBay luggage. If one of those hinges break off, you need a new case

I can't attest to the quality of this particular outfit but in my experience products offered by Sling Mods are of excellent quality, and aren't cheap by any reasonable measurement. But there is always a disclaimer: with enough hard use almost anything will eventually break.

Nothing stopping you from reinforcing the bags if you think it's gonna be a problem. The KG bags on my Royal are maybe 50% original ... the rest is all PlastiFix with fiberglass embedded for strength at the stress points. Handy stuff - I also use it for crumpled fairings and body panels ...
