RT622 Trailer cost to transport
I sold my RT622 trailer last month and this is what I found about cross country transportation. The buyer lives in Virginia. Couldn't be further away. The trailer was shipped from Arizona to Virginia at a cost of $600. The companies name is HaulsBikes from Milwaukee, WI. It was a very smooth and interesting operation. I met the truck at a motorcycle shop where he was picking up 3 other bikes. This was one huge double deck tractor-trailer. According to the driver, they operate 65 trucks nationally and have several warehouses around the country. This particular truck and driver operates regionally picking up bikes and moving them to a warehouse (in Las Vegas I believe). The bikes are then grouped together with others going to the same part of the country and reloaded on a new truck. This process can happen 3 or 4 times depending upon where they are located and being sent to. The truck driver did a thorough inspection and video of my trailer when I turned it over to him for shipment. It took almost 4 weeks for the trailer to be delivered to the purchaser. It was delivered in exactly the same condition as it was in when I sent it. Absolutely no signs of any mishandling.
Perhaps this information will be useful for anyone contemplating the long distance purchase of a trailer (or bike). Ride safe..... Jim

Seems to me like when I had the 2013 RT, that I bought in 2014 from a guy in Wisconsin, brought to Idaho by Haul Bikes they only had two warehouses, one in Milwaukee and the other in York, PA where HD builds their trikes. Pickup was at a car dealership and drop off was in front of my house. All in all I was quite satisfied with their service. Maybe their business has increased to the point where more warehouses are needed.
