Time to crawl under the Spyder

After a ride today - I decided it was time to crawl under the Spyder and see if I could find out what might be going wrong with this rear suspension and look what I found! Would this be the cause of my air bag not holding air?IMG_1385.jpg

Also - where can I find an electronic copy of the service manual for a 2019 RT Limited?

I got a paper one off of eBay for $65 -- don't buy that one, it came with no table of contents or index. I have to add dividers with labels to make searches easier. I am a paper manual guy. Some have said they paid less for better. Live and learn.

Looks like the arm for the ACS switch. I do not have the manual handy. There is a right way of hooking that arm correctly. Hopefully some one can post a picture.

Get a bolt that fits the rivnut, install it and enjoy. Pretty sure it is a 6mm diameter. Guessing length is about 15mm.

On the swingarm end, it only goes one way for proper fitment.

Thanks PMK - that was going to be my next question - what size bolt? I'm surprised that the service manual doesn't give this info. It looks like from the picture - it is just a bolt - no nut?

On the bottom, no true nut. The nut is a rivnut, secured into the swingarm bracket. Please understand, I am guessing at the bolt specifics.

And as you can see, the tab that the rivnut is expanded into is not very thick. So, don’t be surprised if it starts to turn as the bolt starts to tighten. Just grab that portion of the rivnut that is behind the tab with pliers or another tool of your choice in order to keep it from turning as you tighten the bolt.

Went out and bought a M6-1.0 x 20 mm (could have even used one size longer) bolt and fastened everything down and went for a ride. What a difference!!! My rear suspension is now doing it's job.

Got a cd on ebay for a2011 for 15$ with freight its awsome had many more years listed
