Hi guys . I have a 2009 Roadster SE5 . The only change i can see is the Can-am / Hindle Exhaust . Does anyone know what kind gas mileage i can expect . I'm sure this has been asked before , but i'v done a search and found nothing ... Thanks all .

I had a 09 RS. No Hindle. Over 25,000 miles, we averaged 30 mpg.
The refill light would come on between 135 and 150 most times.

I have a 2012 RS and while I don't monitor mpg real closely I can usually count on about 30mpg plus/minus. I typically start looking for fuel once I have about 120 miles (which is about 2 bars on the gauge) on the last fill up.

I have '08 GS, but it's been a long while since I've checked my mileage. The furthest I've gone on a tank was 198 miles, but the light had been on for the last 25 to 30 miles. I checked a few times and I was getting 36 to to 38......so.....
....and we're gonna ride, we're gonna ride.....
ride like the one-eyed Jack of Diamonds, with
the devil close behind,.....we're gonna ride....

that’s a fair ballpark average, other variables can add or reduce that amount sometimes drastically. 1: shift points try keeping above 5k RPM, solo or 2 up riding, ethanol or non ethanol gas. Maybe more do check the do’s & dont’s for 998 engine.

I have the 2012 RSS, and I was getting 35 mpg stock, and now I m getting 42 after the Power Commander 5, and new M2 Vale single can exhaust, the two brothers can.
When I had my Yamaha FZ09 ECU tuned, they actually improved its mileage by almost 7 mpgs, and fixed a slew of issues, and it was fast after too, I could lift the wheel in 6 with ease. My typical speed is 65 to 70 mph, I am 100+ miles from the nearest freeway corridor, and my elevations constantly change from one to 2 miles in elevation. And with the exhaust, the K&N Filter and the PC5, I got 42 mpgs on the last tank and could be better as I winter start.

Thanks guys , I was thinking it was going to be less than that . Just thought with how munch more wind it would catch , gas mileage would suffer . I could live with 30 mpg .
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and the best wishes for 2020 . Please ..have a safe holiday season . Our days are just starting to get longer . ;-)

My 2009 RS SE5 gets between 27 and 31 MPG very consistently.
