Saturday Ride Description: The 2020 SE Ohio Spyder Event Saturday Escorted Rides will be limited to 40 bikes each. For logistical and safety reasons we have to limit the number of bikes for the Saturday Escorted Ride. We are requiring Pre-Registration for the Saturday Escorted Ride only. The registration includes an Event Shirt which you will pick up at the event in Zanesville.

Escorted SE Ohio Spyder Ride on Saturday Starting at 9:00 AM from the Best Western parking lot, We will be ending up back at the Best Western also.

We are expecting to be back at the Best Western around 6:00 PM Saturday evening. This ride is geared towards the experienced rider that does like to ride curves.
Be gassed up and ready to go by 8:45, short meeting at 8:50 and leaving promptly at 9:00 AM.

Leisurely ride from Zanesville going East, through scenic winding back roads at times following a few rivers and lakes. Route will go around Seneca Lake & Dam, Wayne National Forest and along the Ohio River. Ending up in New Martinsville, WV for lunch at Quinet's Court Restaurant. We do go across the bridge into West Virginia for lunch, so helmets are required for this portion of the ride.

The Court Restaurant has a home made lunch buffet (with home made desserts) for appx. $10.95. We will have a large private area set aside for our group.
From there we will ride South along the Ohio River, then West into the National Forest on 260. Everyone is encouraged to only ride at their own pace through the curves. Then route 26 through the forest to the North side of Marietta, we will stop at a covered bridge on route 26 to give everyone a little break. Route from the Covered bridge South on Route 26 will be at your own pace, anyone wishing to ride at a faster pace will leave first. There will be lots of great curves and scenery to enjoy in this section ending up just north of Marietta. After taking a bypass on the north side of Marietta we will then take route 60 a short distance to the gas stop then up along the Muskingum River all the way back to Zanesville. Planned stops in this portion, Muskingum River locks #8.
There is very little traffic on these roads on Saturday, making this a very enjoyable ride.

This will be a 217 mile (total) ride. We will make appropriate gas and rest stops. There will be plenty of time for socializing. This is a good opportunity to take a nice ride, meet some new people, and possibly get away for a couple of days. Everyone is welcome, for this ride you just need to have a Spyder or be with someone riding a Spyder.
If you only want to do the portion of the ride in the morning to the restaurant or the second half of the ride from the restaurant back, that is fine. We will be at the Court Restaurant at approximately 12:30 PM.

We will block intersections. We also have people flagging at intersections that we can not block.
In addition, see the SE Ohio Motorcycle Ride Guidelines Page.

What to expect: Great rides through some very scenic and even somewhat challenging roads.
A great time and a chance to meet old friends and make a few new ones. Single riders are welcome (Male and Female), you will find this to be a very social ride and group. Do not worry about coming alone and not knowing anyone, that will change pretty quickly.
Bikes are welcome if you are riding with someone that comes with a Spyder.

There are also several clubs and many individuals that will be participating.
These rides are Ride at your own Risk.

Event Shirts are available. Pre order and pick up at the event in Zanesville.

Contact: Teresa or Rick from Value-Accessories with any questions.

We did all of the pre rides for this weeks SE Ohio Spyder Event last weekend.
    http://www.valueaccessories.net/SEOhioSpyderRyde.htm
Couple small issues that were taken care of, but roads look great.
The Der Dutchman route will be slightly changed because of Route 93 closing tomorrow north of 36. Adds about 7 miles to the ride each way.
The Big Muskie Ride is great like normal. Saturdays rides both will go down I-70 to the Route 83 exit due to the road east of the motel being closed.
See everyone in a couple days in Zanesville.
