    Default Cosmetic issue

I am not even sure what it is called. I have a 2010 Spyder RT touring SM5. On the left side, just in front of my left foot is a "grill cover." I call it that, because I don't know what else to call it. It seems to look like a grill. There is a similar spot on the right side of the bike. Unfortunately, there is no grill on that side. When I look into this area, I can see the radiator fan.

I would like to get a similar "Grill Cover" for the right side, but I cannot find anything like that anywhere.

    Help!

Up through 2010 the grill cover was a "non item." BRP did not put anything there. I guess it was for better air circulation. Aftermarket has since come out with an insert. See above.

Thank you for the information. I did call them, and they gave me the "Low Down." First of all, it's called a "Side Grill." Next, he said that the earlier models did not come with one on the right - mainly for circulation issues. He did say that Can Am eventually put one on the right, but they changed some of the dimensions on the body, so, the Side Grills for the newer models wouldn't fit in my 2010.

Your information helped me get the answers I needed. THANKS

Thanks. I definitely get some looks . . . I do a lot of Patriot Guard Riders escorts. Especially with the flags, it gets a lot of looks & pics.

I retrofitted one to my 2010. I believe it was a part for a 2012 or 13, dont really remember. You do have to make some mods to the part itself to make it fit, but once done, it looks like it should have always been there. Grill was fairly cheap as well, I think between 20 to 30 at the dealer. Bike is apart right now, but I may be able to take a picture of the part if you like.

Maybe this will help. It's what I did to put a grill on the right side of my 2013 RT. https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/...ht=right+grill
