    Default Ryker Throttle Control

Came across this on Youtube today, so I thought I'd share with the group for what it's worth.....

That's really weird that it turns with the throttle, not ideal for sure.

Nothing’s perfect. Some may be happy with a cramp buster. cueman

It installs literally in minutes and does not get in the way of the grip like the cramp buster does.

Atlas shows both a top kit and bottom kit. He shows the bottom kit. Is there a particular advantage to either one?

Yes, on the atlas website there is a video that explains this. cueman

My installation was quick but if you have the BRP hand shields on the handguards, you will need to trim the plastic shield for clearance.

I picked up some ISO grips on the I-net and found out that the ones made for motorcycles are about a half inch longer than the ones on the Ryker Rally. When I changed out my handlebars for a longer one and slightly higher one, I replaced my grips with the new ones and found that I could not install the handguards because there was not enough clearance. But, I never needed handguards on my Harley and see no reason that I would need them on my Ryker. Without the handguards and now that I have installed the FULL rear fender, it looks like a 900 ACE instead of a Rally. Oh well. The handlebar in the photo is pulled back a bit so it does not show how it has a rise of about five inches over the old one and allows me to sit more upright, which is more comfortable. Sorry about running amok outside of the subject of the thread. Point was supposed to be the lack of space for the handguards once you change anything on them related to the grips. By the way, I do not like the mirrors on the end, but they work better for me than those standard placement mirrors like I have on my Harley. I am a bit wide so having mirrors that "see" behind me is a good thing.
