Replace coolant tempature sensor 14 RT
Anyone know how to remove the coolant temperature sensor on a 2014 Spyder RT? Every time I try a google search the best I get is a fuzzy picture of where it is. No other info, not even which side it is on. I appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks. What side is it on? What panel(s) do I need to remove?

The two pictures of the CTS in my service manual are confusing, at least to me. The first one, like Gwolf's first one shows it on the front of the cylinder head just to the left of the center spark plug. The second one, like Gwolf's second picture shown it adjacent to the intake manifold. The confusing thing for me is the intake manifold is on the rearward side of the engine and I can tell you from having changed my spark plugs in June there was no CTS anywhere near the front of the engine because the exhaust manifold is in the way. See the picture below. The exhaust manifold is missing in the picture but you can see where it bolts to the cylinder head. I think it's on the rear left side of the cylinder head but am not certain.
From the 2014 RT Engine Cooling diagram, second picture below, is now readily apparent to me that the CTS is on the left rear side of the cylinder head. This means one will have to remove the left side panel, left side top panel and the sound deadening panel behind the top side panel. Whether or not it means digging into such parts as the air boxes I don't remember from my spark plug change service.

Reason: add add'l picture and explanation
Artillery lends dignity to what would
otherwise be a vulgar brawl.
