    Default F3 limited usb port

I have a question about the USB port in the glovebox. I know you have to hook up your smartphone to it and sync with Bluetooth.
I question is : can I play music stored on Google Drive with BRP Connect?

I have a 19 F3L and I can use Google Play through BRP connect but I am Not connected to the USB port, only Bluetooth. I’m still getting used to the bike and the system as I’ve only had it one month.

Any audio can be played from your smartphone through the Spyder dash. It just has to be BT paired. Only need to plug in to the usb port to have your phone apps displayed on the Spyders screen. Only apps that are approved will work with BRP Connect. Google Drive cloud based storage app is not an approved app. I have not tried it, but if you setup your Google Music player to get it's files from the Google Drive. Then the google music app will work with BRP Connect. Why not just copy your music files to your Smartphone. Then you do not need cell data and the music will not stop when out of range of a cell tower.

Thanks. I just figured that out today. This new technology is hard for me to keep up with, I am 77 and kinda old-school.
    Appreciate your reply.

Yup. I just took a look at the F3 manual for the 2019 I just purchased. I think I am sticking with the helmet to helmet communicators and none of the bluetooth stuff.

I am thinking 2018. Others will come on with a better answer.
