    Default 2020 f3l

I heard a rumor that the top case on a F3 Limited could easily be removed the same way as the new 2020 RT. Does anyone know if this is true?

Very True. There's a video on You Tube. You'll need a rear fender if you do not have one already. Takes about 5 minutes to remove. BTW I have a 2016 F3T with an added BRP topcase.

Yeah, but that’s the 2017, Rattlebars, which is still a pain to get off. Ollicat is asking about the new 2020, and whether it is as simple as the “couple of wires and a single fastener” like on the new RT.

I see that they offer the LinQ system for 2020 RT's but does not seem to be available for the F3 system.

Page 47 of the new 2020 catalog, in the RT section. No such, that I find, in the F3 section.

Thanks to JP58: Page 19 of catalog...under specs....shows LinQ Compatible Top Case.

For earlier F3 limited you could remove the top case and install a "tail cover".... I can't for my life find any information on tail coves for the 2020's..... anyone know if this is an option and if so where I can get part information? Called a dealer today and he said its a "mono seat cowl" but that doesn't sound right to me... although maybe it is

You dealer sounds clueless on the 2020 RT.

Your link is for the 2020 RT. AzBTO is talking about the F3 Limited, not the 2020 RT. You are in the F3 forum.

I am waiting to see myself. 2 weeks ago I asked the same question. My dealer said no it is not like the 2020Rt but others on here said it is. My dealer said that if there are passenger arm rests they need to be unbolted also. I watched all the videos and can’t see a single F3 that removes the seat and how the arm rests are attached. My dealer only has the Rt’s on display not the F3. Does anyone actually have a 2020 F3 or are they late coming because of the new RT’s?

My mistake, I was thinking 2020 RT considering there is so much talk on the forum for the 2020 RT. If I find anything I will post it.

I'm "guessing" that since the new F3T and the F3 Limited both support the Linq system that you could get an F3-T rear cover and use it on the F3 Limited with the case removed but wouldn't bet my paycheck on it.... I do like the idea though of having a little bit shorter bike (top case removed) and only use when i need it... but of course things aren't that simple. The new RT looks nice but crap that's more than my car cost....

Here is a list of features that list "LinQ compatible top case"
Also the cargo accessories for the F3-T list the RT top case as an option.
I'm still waiting to see the F3-L as well, however I test rode the RT-L
today and the top case lid has a much better hinge than the 2019 F3-L.
Although there is no mention of the fender cover for the F3-L when you want
to remove the top case but it should be in the parts catalogue for the F3-T.
It is also described on page 29 in the catalogue mentioned in post # 8

Interesting that the RT top case is listed as an accessory for the F3T.

Also, I totally agree that they need to show the fender cover as an accessory for the F3L
