    Default Condolences

Tat, very sorry to hear about the loss of your friend, a member of our community. I'll bet everyone on this board has been touched by cancer in some way at some time. We need to keep faith that a better life awaits us after death.

    Default PHIL - my dad

hello all,my first post....thanks for all the replies to tatt2r"s post, and thanks to you also,Jamie...my dad frequented this site often but never signed up....i am his oldest son,ray..dad passed away sunday a.m. at his home,w/ family by his side,..six short months after his diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer,..from the onset of his diagnosis he fought like a true champ, but that "c" word is just a nasty @#$%^&* disease,he knew what was coming,he did not suffer, and did not want to go on if he could not live life to the fullest doing the things he enjoyed most ..riding his spyder was one of those many things.

he may be physically gone, but he lives forever in my heart, and is with me always as my guardian angel..i could go on forever about dad , !

his spyder is now for sale..as soon as i stop crying (again) i am going to his house to take some photos, get the exact mileage etc.and will post it later this week,or if interested send me a message...the bike is silver, manual trans.,and stock orig.,except for the muffler,(i also have orig one),he never took it on the highway, just enjoyed KREWZN around....
........the price will be $13,690.00 FIRM..........to cover what is owed..
someone will get a great deal, and my mother will not be forced to turn it over to the bank.

    thanks again....ray

    ................. DAD, I LOVE YOU

Ray, my sincere sympathy and best wishes. Cancer also claimed my dad. He has been gone almost 27 years now and not a day goes by that I don't think about him.

So sad to hear about your friend; not much one can say after that (even me). Good that you were able to have such a person in your life; enrichment.
