tinker with the vette, boat, or work.... Gonna ride the Spyder to a showing tomorrow... Mixing pleasure with work.... going over to a car show here in a few minutes...
I sold all my snowmobiles a few years ago ( it was getting too dangerous ) ….. and last year I decided to return to downhill sking ( at 72 yrs old )…. bought new equipment, ( Shaped ski's & rear entry boots ) a Senior ski pass, and ended up skiing 66 days last season. It's really good excercise, and the new style equipment takes much less energy to accomplish. The downside was Falls seemed to hurt a heck of lot more ..... but I survived, and the more often I went, the less I fell .... This season I may get into the Senior race program they have at Sugarbush VT ..... of course my RT will get major servicing ( diy ) done & possibly the ECU flash.... and there are plenty of smaller projects to amuse me ...... hope your winter is as much fun as mine will be ..... Mike ...... Mike

I find that at 72, things have slowed down for me.... My body just can't keep up with what my mind would like to accomplish.... Also I did some work on the Cobra after putting that back on the road in Aug..... annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd I just love driving my toys …. all work and no fun is not how I operate any more. …. this winter I plan to build the front half of the new frame I will need for the new front suspension that I'm going to use. ….. Thanks for asking …. I'll add pics to my " 917 " album and post them here …… Mike
That was at the Minneapolis convention center. The tall lad is my 15 year old grandson Matthew, and next to him is my 40 year old son Zach. We did have a lot of fun.

Isn't it weird that in AMERICA our flag and our culture offend so many people...... but our benefits don't?
I agree! We( vtrider my significant other) don't have much down time between spyder riding season and the snowmobiling season here in Vt.

Plan trips, think about trips, read these forums for ideas about trips, reminisce about past trips, resist the urge to go on a trip (even if its only a lap of the main street in our town and back home).....time with the Grandkids, cant wait to take them on a trip and study. I'm an I.T. contractor and certifications and study consume a lot of my downtime.

Sounds like you like trips.

I know exactly how you feel. my mind has lots of plans but it's going to take a younger body to do them. I would much rather ride or visit the grand kids, kids and my siblings then do projects. Where is that magic wand?

Oh to be 72 again! Back then, I was taking delivery of a new 2010 Victory Cross Roads that I rode often and hard until spring of 2019 when the hip gave me grief and was mis-diagnosed as something permanent and sold it and got my F3L so I can stay in the wind. Turns out I needed a hip replacement, got it, and I have no regrets about switching to 3 wheels.
Getting back on subject; When the dust settles from the hip job, going to be adding a sway bar and maybe a bump skid while she's in the air.

Ours is a red, black and chrome 2017 F3 Limited. Bought new in 2/2019. The avatar is my first bike back in 1952, a Simplex Servi-Cycle. Photo taken at the Barber Museum.
I'm lucky. In South Carolina Carolina we have about 6 weeks of winter, but they are not in a row. It gets cold, then warm, and back to cold again, so our riding season really doesn't end.
