Default Codes C0040 & C006C with Limp home mode

Good day all, my 2014 RTS is showing fault code C0040 & C006C and goes into limp home mode. I also do not have brake lights but I do have tail lights. I have removed the battery, cleaned it up and when I reinstalled it I left off the aftermarket connections. I checked all the fuses and found that the 5A fuse in position 6 (DC plucs VKEY) on the right fuse box was blown and I replaced it. This did not help to fix any of the problems.

I would appreciate any suggestions that you may have.

Did you figure this out? I have the exact issue now! Happened after the wife stopped hard doing about 45mph. Now, just pushing the brake pedal triggers it sitting idle...
