Headlight Skins
Hello all, I’m trying to find a pair of headlight skins or covers that look like a reptiles eyes. I believe they have been mentioned on the forum in the past. I’m unable to track them down, but am hopeful someone on here can help point me in the right direction!

They don't last very long. I had a set and they peeled in 2-3 months.

My headlight 'glasses' melted a hole in their 'focus spot' after ryding slowly on hot asphalt all day on a hot day WITHOUT any headlight skins fitted!!! Altho I must admit, they still had the OE light globes in there, not LED's, but still....
So unless you've already swapped to 'lower heat output' LED's, then personally, I wouldn't be recommending anyone fit ANYTHING in the way of headlight skins, particularly if they ever ryde in hot weather &/or on hot tarmac!!

Thanks for your input. I found them on Sling Mods. Appreciate the input about the headlight heat.

AMR Racing is the premiere maker. I have had a set on mine for 2 years now without issue. It is all about the prep before application..... Here is their site for all their designs:

I'm going to add another note. I ran some light shades as you see on my GL1800 to darken the signals. These particular color (black) covers did not dim the lights much because the sticky part that faces the bulb was WHITE as snow. I remember that the ones I put on my spyder did dim the output because the sticky backing was NOT white. The white reflects the actual light back into the assembly so that it gets bounced back out the front through the holes so it still gets a lot of light out. The dark back of the eyes on the spyder are not white and no light gets recycled out the front dimming the assembly considerably. Don't know if they've changed them since I had them.
