wind like that is scary. The Spyder feels planted enough but the wind feels like it is literally going to lift you off the bike.

Pulled the right side covers and installed wiring for GPS. Bought a 10 x 1.5 stud and coupler nutm then turned down one end of the nut to use the two to replace one of the handlebar bolts. Heve a 10 x 1.5 stud RAM ball on order. Also plated with pairing the phone for playing music. This is an old phone with Android 7, so I won't even try BRP connect.

Busy last couple of weeks but done and to be done soon on my new to me 2019 RT SE6:
    1) Installed with help of dealer JM CB 2003 with antenna in left side antenna location on trunk.
    2) Installed USB charging source in switch panel centered under handlebars.
    3) Moved SAE connection from frunk to under seat so it could be used for battery tender and power heated jacket.
    4) Installed nets on depressions in saddle bags and trunk.
    5) Dealer reconnected fog lights that he accidentally disconnected when installing CB.
    6) New Kenda Kanine Rear Tire installed.
    7) Installed TPMS sensors blue tooth to phone.
    8) Dealer balanced all tires after sensors installed.
    9) Scheduled in two weeks Lamonster install of BajaRon Sway bar and links.
    10) Scheduled in two weeks Lamonster lazer alignment.
    11) Scheduled in two weeks Lamonster install of LED headlights and fog lights.
    12) Scheduled in two weeks Lamonster install of mirror mount turn signal.
    13) Adjusted shocks to highest setting.
    14) Purchased and installed IPS axle caps.

Then I think I'm done for a while. Would really like to order an Ultimate seat but don't think my financial boss(wife) would survive that added expense on top of buying the bike and then spending all the money on the above. Coming off of two wheels (Kawasaki C14 Concours). I like to ride long days and loved the C14, but after a hospital stay in December with Covid and being 79 years of age, just could not deal with the weight and top-heavy circumstances with it. I guess the days of high-speed runs and scraping pegs are over, probably for the best.

The handlebars on my '17 F3L were too close and had me leaning backward. When stopped on a hill, I had to hang on to the bars for dear life. Buttersmooth saw my forum post about that and sent to me the bars he took off of his 2020 RT and replaced them with the shorter reach bars that older F3s had.
After installing them, they were better, but were too long a reach by a bit. So I added Lamonster's 2" bar riser and VIOLA!, a perfect fit. Thanks for coming up with that riser Lamont - I'm sure it has helped many to be more comfortable on their Spyders.
Another forum member, Easysuper, he and his wife just bought two 2021 RTs and the bars are too long a reach for her. So I paid it forward and gave her my original bars, which made her more comfy.
Now three Spyder riders are happy!

Over the last week I installed new LED headlights to replace the burnt out origianls. I also changed my oil. Turned into quite a journey because of errors I made. I also replaced orgiinal tires at 17 K with Zumho 175-55-15s. Look great and ride beautifully. I took my ten year old black trailer to be painted same color as SPyder and it came back beautiful with the FSU decal attached. Stripes to come.CA7FAACF-074A-49B1-84FE-A28F5D71A3E0.jpg7B92FE51-6925-4C44-B317-14A92FF56FC0.jpg65D58394-8AC6-4D99-9CDF-08A03508F51C.jpg6BED0624-E4AC-4494-89F2-EA85E0156379.jpgE8329F70-09A9-4F4E-BF97-9102C4BA1A2F.jpg

I backed it out of my shop, re-arranged and cleaned the shop, and put it back in. Maybe a ride tomorrow if the forecasted rain doesn't happen.

    First...
Went to 'the dark side' with a Kumho Ecsta AST on the rear. OEM Kenda had just shy of 15,000 miles and wasn't gonna get too much more.
My usual dealer wouldn't install non-OEM, so I found another dealer not much further away to do the rear. I considered the Kanine but seems to be on way backorder.
Planning on putting the Federals on the front in short order, but I'll pull these myself and have a local tire shop mount them.

    Second...
Added 2 years BEST from the fine folks over at Sierra Cycle. I had a "2+1" plan from original purchase.

Thinking about doing some trips on my F3 and realized I would need some luggage and a place to mount it. I ride single and don't like the luggage racks that hang off the back of the Spyder. I didn't like the idea of tying down to the seat so I decided to build a rack over the passenger seat. This is what happened:

Installed the following items from wrapmyspyder.com:

    2020+ RT Chrome Taillight Accent
    2020+ RT Chrome Boomerang Insert
    2020+ RT Chrome Air Dam

Also installed 2020+ RT Upper Stainless Steel Vent Grilles from Spyderpops.com. They match the Kott Air Dam Grilles from Spyderpops which I installed last year.

I needed foot rest, not highway pegs, so I modified Rivco's brackets into foot rests by shortening the support link.
I made F3 LIMITED badges for the front and rear of the bike.
I made a bumper too, but that was a while back.
