Well, this happened on Saturday but I was putting heated grips on the wife's bike. In the video I watched (because the instructions are terrible), they say to sand down the plastic throttle. Boy were they not kidding. I sanded it down but between it being a tight fit, and having to use superglue, I ended up having to twist the new grip on. With all the force I had to use to get it on, the pin inside the throttle housing where the on/off switch is that goes in the hole in the handlebars, broke off. Suffice it to say, you can't buy the throttle assembly in individual parts. So that little pin that broke set me back $265. Had to buy the whole throttle assembly but will only use that part that broke. Now that stinks if you ask me.

Did you go with standard or stainless bleeders? Ordering mine tomorrow. Speed Bleeders says the SS version have better check valving, but at 2x the cost, they have to say something

Removed the slingmods foam grips because they're not only too thick, but they also don't allow much heat penetration through them; and installing ones I got from Pierre at canamspyderaccessories. They're half the thickness and Pierre addresses in his video, the heat issue most thicker foam grips have.
UPDATE: The grips definitely are better for my hands. They also do allow much more heat than the other ones I had. There's some heat loss but I can still use the low setting and feel the heat. With the thicker grips, low was barely noticeable. Had to use high to keep my hands warm.

Spent Sunday morning working on minor improvements. Installed battery maintainer lead through its own grommet hole in the frunk in preparation for winter. Then focused on a new fast charge usb port next to the ignition and the garage door button on the opposite side. Of course had to do a test ride ;-)

Had my 2022 Sea to Sky coated with Revivify Advanced Nano Coating - https://revivifycoatings.com/ It's Satin Finish safe and self healing. They used it almost everywhere including the windshield and wheels. The only place they didn't use it was on the super scratchy piano black parts. Those parts came with very small scratches from the dealership and the detailers could not polish them out. I will be covering those with special stuff I bought from Peter at Wrap My Spyder.
For the two side panels above the foot rests, the shop added some Satin Finish Wrap to add protection from boot marks when getting on & off the bike. My detailer also ordered some custom cut Satin Wrap for the Frunk cover and each of the front side panels with the vents to add protection against chips. You can't polish-out satin paint. Repairing chips and scratches requires the whole panel to be repainted.
So far I'm really happy with their work. It wasn't cheap, but considering how much these machines cost, especially here in Canada, it was well worth the extra expense.

After a new friend Partzman23 came over and showed me a few things. Realized that I have a Baja Ron swaybar and a CAT delete. Turns out that my purchase keeps on getting better and better.
Aside from that, I installed the TricLED driving lights. Like them so much, I will be grabbing the rear facing brake light / turn signal ones. Look great.
The glare sucks .. but you get the idea.
