Nothing today, but yesterday installed my Ultimate seat with gas door and backrest. Then set about getting the backrest set at just the right angle. That always takes me several long rides to find the sweet spot. First time out with my Stage two Monster ECU flash. Had a great 250 mile ride with my riding buddy who rides a Harley dresser. I always make him ride 1/2 mile or more behind so I would be associated with the Harley crowd.(Ha,Ha. He's concerned not to be associated with a three wheeler) The Monster flash and the Torpedo muffler make a great performing and sounding ride out of the Spyder. Great riding weather but the bottom is set to drop out of the weather tomorrow and later this week. Also, installed my Wolo horn so I don't sound like a moped. Next is to install a different antennae for the CB to see if I can increase range. More later.
I ordered Spyder Pops plug ‘n play mirror running lights/turn signals from Lamonster Garage. It took 3 days for delivery and I have just finished the install. The installation went flawlessly and looks great...no hyper flash! Very easy install...the most difficult and time consuming part was the removal and reattaching of all of the plastic. Thank you for the great service Lamont!
Install Tow/Tie down rings to the front shock bolts.
Playing with the stock low windshield to try and determine the comfortable height for a replacement shield.
Rode a couple of hundred miles to run errands.

Purchased and had the CanAm dealer install a General Altimax rear tire.
Had to argue with the mechanic as he stated the 215/60-15 was TOO SMALL for my F3T.
Anyway the service writer accepted this job and I am very happy with the results.
The bike rides great and the speedo finally agrees with my GPS.

Tested the installation of my new Quatrac rear tire with the wife today. Did the removal and install of the rear tire myself and took it out to have it mounted yesterday. The fronts are getting Quatracs next Friday.

Right before Christmas of 2021, my wife asked what I wanted for Christmas. I said that's easy... a set of Highway pegs for my Spyder. She ordered me a set, and on the top of the box in big red letters it said "these will not fit a RT Spyder unless it has Running Boards" ( Mine does not ) and at least couple other things that mine doesn't have either..... Soooo, called them up and sent them straight back, and I learned nobody had any or made any that will fit my 2011 RTS Spyder that is all factory. But, today I built a set, drilled the Frame, and mounted the brackets; fit like they should have been there from the factory. Only now I need a good Drill Press, sooo my Birthday and our Wedding Ann. is May 10'th ... Guess what I want for THAT????? ..... LOL ... But I do feel good about the Brackets.

Two grandkids and a great grandkid (12) came over and installed Lamonster's Tie Down Rings. I didn't like the way the shock bolt protrudes into the ring, so I taught the 12 year old how to use an angle grinder to cut off the measured excess, a grinding wheel for champhering the bolt end and a wire wheel for smoothing and polishing. Yes, I had him run a nut up the threads, to be removed when all those steps were done.

Finally, a dry day. Temperature in the neighbourhood of 50°F. Sky was overcast (no sun). I decided to clear out the cobwebs in my head, and went for an hour and a half ride. Just local area. Speed never got over 90 km/h, but damn....it felt good.

yesterday , my new Drill press was delivered , and early today one of my best friends come over and me and him started to put the drill press together , about 12;00 my Son came over and helped us pick it up and mount it on my work bench . then I started to drill the fold up and down parts and thread the holes , and Mount them... and just at Dark.... it was Finished , Looks good , works good , and sure makes me feel good . and I am so glad to be a member of this fine group to talk to folks who enjoy the samethings I enjoy. Thank You All.

Not sure if it is a him or not. Probably is a her since the females are usually larger with more rounded abdomen. It is a wolf spider. Came in from outside where they live in holes in the ground, The weather here does not get cold enough to hurt the wolf spiders, but it will sometimes kill the big banana spiders that stay on the webs overnight. The wolf spider does have some venom, but they are not aggressive toward people. The venom is no worse than a wasp sting. It will paralyze the crickets or other insects they eat, but not much effect on a 200 pound human. I don't bother them if they don't bother me.

Fixed my wobbly mirrors. Pulled them apart. Greased the ball joints and as I didn't have a "Wedgie" block I filled that space with some snow foam from an old sleeping mat.
Ordered Pedal commander, elka front & rear shocks as well as cat delete pipe and lps exhaust from Lamonster. Spyder already has sway bar and new tires, Pretty surious how it will respond after completion. Chris
Installed my Vredestein Quatracs on the Front completing the set and went back and did some alignment on the belt from changing the rear out last week. Got her 4 mm off of the rear flange and adjusted belt tension. Time to wash and wax tomorrow to get the pollen and dirt off from doing all of the work and road testing.
