Moved everything out of the garage, swept it out, and rearranged it so both bikes and the snowblower can fit in the garage. Distance ridden 100 feet for the day.

Beautiful day out, so I took the Spyder out car shopping. I'm looking for a vehicle to tow behind our motorhome. The ride was good, but the shopping Meh!
Also topped off the oil in the F3 after the oil change yesterday. I've got 5.5 quarts of oil in it, and it's almost to the max line - Perfect! I will say this synthetic 5/40 allows the transmission to shift smooth and quiet. Feels like the 1330 is running a little smoother also. I got the oil change kit from Lamonster right after I bought the bike. The kit is great. The o-rings aren't color coded, so just check the diameter and thickness. I'll buy from them again in a heartbeat. I also purchased the Show Chrome Yellow magnetic drain plugs from Lamonster, but didn't use them, because the OEM stuff wasn't damaged from my removal. They actually looked like pretty good quality, and the metal did not try to strip out. I gave them each a good initial whack with the ratchet attached, and they came loose with a little snap noise.

Nice weather today, low 90’s °F, got a 56-mile ride in. Had a two-fold mission:
1) practice launching from a standstill (SM6) for this coming weekend’s all-motorcycle drag racing at our local track;
2) run the last gallon or so of regular gas out and fill with super unleaded for said drag race.
...Oh, the things I have to suffer through...

A bit off topic I know, but here's hoping all goes well for you!
I've had both shoulders done, after quite some years of increasing pain & restriction plus numerous 'lesser operations' that sorta never worked... or at least, didn't work for too long anyway... Altho I have been told that I might be a little hard on them & possibly expect a little too much!
Still, the point is, that once done, and after I put a lot of effort into the post op therapy followed by continuing exercise, now that I'm some years down track with minimal ongoing pain & no further issues, my only beef these days is Why the bleedin'eck didn't I get them done earlier!!
So Good Luck, I hope all goes well for you and your recovery is steady and complete!
And despite what some might think of it, I don't mind 'growing old' so much, but 'growing decrepit' really grinds my gears!

. Well I thought I had put it away 4 the winter, but no........ My car has a torn CV boot,so I'm not using it and I needed to do some shopping. It started easily and quietly. 15w40 Rotella ( freshly changed) worked wonders. Smoother shifting too on the 44k mile .

Didn't DO much of anything to the Spyder today. Did ryde to lunch and back. I ordered a half cover for it yesterday. The cover I have is not for a Limited, so doesn't reach the back trunk. If a nice warm day were to happen, I'd wash it some.

Cleaned her up, wiped her down, and checked her fluids. Found that the battery wasn't fully seated in its little cubby hole and the positive cable wasn't very tight, so I removed the battery and pushed a couple of cables over that were blocking the bottom plate and got the battery seated properly. Then installed the battery tender cables while reconnecting the chassis cables, mounted the tender onto the wall of the garage & moved her into her hibernation spot. There's sufficient room behind my wife's car for the bike to rest until springtime. I'll put the cover over her tomorrow.
Since she only has a couple hundred miles on her I didn't lube any cables. Curious if anyone has created a video that shows where all of them are accessed for this PM.

Good luck with the shoulder. I have had both knees replaced and both shoulders "repaired". Actually ... the knees got me onto three wheels with trikes, and the shoulders (mostly the right one) got me onto a Spider. After the repair (a year) I was cleared to ride the Tri ... 20 miles and I almost ruined the docs work. Another 6 months (during which I sold the Tri) and I thought my riding days were over. A friend of mine came to town and let me ride his Spyder. I was amazed at how smooth and easy it steered. Commenced the search and found my current ride.
Okay ... so my Lamonster mirror locks and the tie downs came in yesterday ... So maybe I will get them installed. But one thing that will definitely happen is a ride ... and will happen everyday until there is snow on the ground here ... always hated spiders ... who knew I could love a Spyder?????

I too went the trike route with a TriGlide (after a ton of 2 wheel Harleys) due to bad knees (3 surgeries). As Is got older the shoulder started acting up (arthritis) so time to get them fixed. I also tried a friends Spyder and knew that was the right move. I ride with a group of guys who all have BMWs and Goldwings. I have no trouble keeping up like I did with the TriGlide.

Put Stabile in the tank, took a ride around the block, washed it, waxed it, put the tender on and threw the blanket over it for the winter!! Now drag the sleds out and get ready to ride them!!

My last shoulder surgery, May 31, 2022, was my 25th. Let's just say I might not have been a good steward of my body. Thirteen knee operations including both replaced. The rest range from knife stab to Shark bite (just kidding but it was a great story). The twenty Five does not count three colonoscopies or circumcism ... LOL.
Actually, I am surprised I made 70. As a youngin, never figured I'd reach 45. In the navy they wanted a list of scars to be used for identification ... I needed another piece of paper to list them ... .

At my wife’s request I took off the BRP armrests I installed shortly after buying my trike and put the original grab rails back on. At least she’ll get the heated rails back now that the weather’s getting colder.

I did get the Lamonster tie downs mounted on the shock bolts and the mirror locks also were installed.
Did a short ride and I do believe the mirror "jiggle" is significantly better. They still wiggle a bit over a good bump but for the most part, pretty sweet.
The tie downs make for a sweet spot to attach my straps when I trailer it. I have a set of rollers that the straps will go through, and the ratchet will be near the rider floorboards. Easy to strap down and that will keep it secure in the wheel chocks. A couple of straps to the big rubber chock I put against the back wheel and the trike rides perfectly.
