I'm 6'3"/36" inseam and use P5 for trips. For everyday riding, I prefer P4 as I feel it gives me a more aggressive foot position.

Yes. the only thing that takes more time is switching the brake rod. What I did was try the different positions while setting on the Spyder to determine which position I liked the best (4 for me) and then purchased Lamonts #4 brake rod as that lowers the peddle.

I'm 5'8 and I have a very short torso and long legs, I went to #5 and it works perfect for me. #4 might have worked also but didn't want to chance it. My forward controls on my motorcycle are 4 inches forward and my buddy is 6'4 and fits him perfect, so you get an idea how #5 fits.

Agree with all the other comments. I'm 6'3" and position 5 is perfect. Doesn't feel like a feet forward position. My legs are pretty close to 90 degrees. Only issue is that the Lamonster frame mount drink holder won't work because the bottle hits my leg but that would be the same problem in any of the positions. Go with #5. Very comfortable

Also says long reach handlebars. Any comments on them?

To lower your pedal, you can drill a hole as illustrated . Finer adjustments can be had by adding washers under the rubber.

The best way to determine what bars will work best for you is to sit on the Spyder the way that you would be riding and close your eyes and then place your hands where it would feel the most comfortable. Now open your eyes and see where that is. If beyond the bars than a long reach bar would be the answer, but if shorter than the short reach bars would be better.

I wouldn`t rely solely on the chart. I had to change my handlebar to the shortest reach to be comfortable. try it for yourself and then be mentally ready to change it after you`ve used the bike for a little while.
