do f3 have same crap mirror clips as a rt
hi there,do the 2017 f3 have the same crap mirror clips that the rt have.i serviced one today and the left mirror was nearly fallen off.im planning on putting the magics on.but want to check the magics will fit the f3.
i think they will but want to confirm before i take mirror off and break the rest of the clips off.

No clips on the F3 that hold the mirrors onto the bike, but on the T and L models there is a cover on the mirror that snaps on.

Which model? The F3 and F3S bolt the mirrors on. The F3T and F3Limited use clips, but magic mirror magnets don’t fit. If your mirrors shake, you need a wedgie! PM me for ordering information.

its a f3 ltd 2017.the left one is very loose and the outer cover also fell off,thats clip back on by owner.it feels like a lower clip is broken.its not just a little loose but way loose.

Stu,
Remove the front cover. Remove the single screw that holds the mirror on. There are 3 points the mirror bracket fixes to:
The hanger at the top, and two spring clips at the bottom. See if both bottom clips are seated properly. If no, push prong into clip. If the bracket still flops about, check the hanger at the top. It might be broken. If everything is connected and in good repair, you just need a wedgie. We have installed hundreds of them. They work. Joe

ok thanks joe ill get the bike back and have a better look.then a wedgie it is if nothing else is astray.thanks for help everyone.
