Welcome to the forum BoBo. If your talking about a Can Am Spyder it has As Lew above said Electric Power Steering. No Fluid.

Actually, I think there is a fluid or lubricant in the gear-box. That was the problem with the original power steering units. They were engineered where the lubricant only reached the top of the gears in the full left or right stop position. Since going to full stop with the handlebars is rare for most people. The upper gears were not receiving any lubrication. This cause excessive wear and slop and eventual failure of the unit.
I don't know of any service or level check for this. I assume it is a heavy gear lube or grease. It may well be a sealed unit that can't be serviced. I've never researched it.
