    Will Genius maps work after loading on a phone and then taking the sim card out of the phone?

    Answered my own question....using a IPhone 3 with genius maps loaded and no SIM card the the navigation works perfect. Who would have known?

    If the map date is on the SIM card and you remove it from the phone, Genius Maps will not work. Ya, iPhones don't have SIM cards. Cell phones have 3 antennas, Cell, WiFi and GPS. So with no cell service it will still be able to navigate.
