Default 2014 RT - Trailer mode?

    Hello,

I read that the RT should have a trailer mode that can be accessed using the MODE button. I cannot find that option on my 2014 RT, and cannot find any mentioning in the user's manual. Did I miss it, or does it nor exist?

    Thank you.

Trailer mode only existed on the 2013 & earlier models that were suitable for towing, basically to make sure that the centrifugal clutch they ran wasn't 'slipped to its destruction'

When the 1330's came out with their 'oil pressure driven hydraulic clutch' and a whole bunch of low down torque, Trailer mode was simply no longer needed, so it went the way of the V-Twin motors!

A 2014 RT will come with the 1330 motor & the hydraulic clutch, so it just doesn't need Trailer mode!

Thanks so much all, I have a 2014 RT-S & I too was looking for tow mode. Now I don’t have to worry about towing my new trailer to “Spyders on the Bayou” in April. YIPPEE!
