2012 Spyder RT Ltd Side Box cover rubbing - any ideas/fixes?

My left side box cover is rubbing just as the cover gets ready to latch. This also caused the side cover to not freely open once I release the latch. The cover opens about 3/4" and then catches. The latch does release completely. I tried to adjust the hinges but there appears to be no play in them.

Your thoughts?

I have a '14 RT & there are a few areas where RUBBING occurs, when all the doors, hatches etc. are closed none of it shows ..... If everything on every Spyder were absolutely perfect no one could afford them. On my RT none of the doors etc. are affected by this contact. .... Rub the bottom of a candle in that area and see if it helps .... good luck .... Mike
