    Default F3 Grill Filter

Sure glad I added a filter to our F3's. This is how mine looked today after getting back from the Spyder Red Rock Ride-In. We put around 4,200 miles on this trip. Both ran great and never got over 1/2 on the temp gauge. Even in close to 100 degree day.

This should help keep the radiators from plugging up!

It can be done to yours. I think I have under $25 in material in it.

    Thanks Mike!

I am surprised BRP didn't do this as it is so easy to do and would help prevent the radiators from plugging as the incoming air with crud is directed directly to the fans.

But then they would not sell radiators, and or every thing else that could result from a over heated motor!

Well BRP didn't fix the Windshield ARM issue which would have been sooooooooooooooooo easy, so it doesn't surprise me that this probably won't get fixed either ….. and again I compliment you on ingenuity and perseverance. It appears some of the Spyder owners here have come up with some really useful fixes ……. Mike

    Tommy,

I just redid the filter support on mine to match what I did on Kathy's as I liked her's better. I also made a second support so that I can do yours also, but first I need to finish with the top box mount I am making. I just finished installing new rear wheel bearings and brake rotor and pads. Tomorrow I will breed the brakes.
Once everything is done I will contact you so you can bring me your F3 and I will install the system.
