    Default Wheelchair mounting

    Hi all-
just wanted to share some innfo and pics on how I mounted my FOLDING wheelchair.

    wheelchair model:
Quickie Xenon 2 fixed front folding wheelchair
    https://www.spinlife.com/Sunrise-/-Q...oductID=118623

    Straps I used:
    2x - PowerTye 1in x 9ft Easy-Grip Light-Duty Endless Ratchet
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I extended the passanger peg and used it to temporarily hold up the wheelchair as I strap it to the bike.
with the peg extended - i lifted the chair up about 4 inches and slide into onto the peg.

    here are the pics:

    please ask if any questions....

How long does that take you to strap up?

Using the passenger peg was a pretty good idea, it looks like the front steer tire is a bit close to the ground, has it ever hit?

i actually timed it.....it takes 7 minutes and 35 seconds to strap on and 2 minutes to dismount it

i adjust the height of the wheels by tightening the straps.....i been over school speed bumps with no issue
potholes and bumps don't touch the front wheels b/c i put the the same height as my foot peg

Got a Tilt & Tote standard wheelchair rack. A machinist friend took a Spyder tow frame and bolted the T & T to it. It takes 45 seconds to roll up and lock in place.spyder4.jpgspyder1.jpg
