    Default

    C0040 Brake Light switch failure
    C006C VCM error or failure
    P0504 Brake signal not plausible.
    P061E Brake signal state invalid.
P1172 Fuel correction reach the minimum limit.

Lets ignore P1172 for now. It's not related to other ones. Engine fuel rich.

Everything else is related to your brake lights. Are your brakes lights working or stuck on?

    Default First two steps.....

There you have it all laid out above...

I have two steps I follow when these things happen.....(it's the glitch thing)

    1. cut the engine with the kill switch leaving the key on and get all the codes....
    2. Turn off the ignition, remove the key and let the computers re-set....

Then re-start and ryde a while and see which codes come back if any. In the many cases I have had such issues the codes don't come back and I have to chuck it up to a glitch or some bonehead manuver I made. If any codes do come back then check it out......

Bike was fixed at the local dealer, replaced low pressure switch, brake light switch and front disc pads. Back on the road again.
