    Default RT to F3T

Decided to say goodbye to an old friend 2015 Spyder RT SE6
Traded it in for an Ex-Demo Spyder F3T 2018 model with OHG
Seat height is lower so it’s easier for me to get on & Off
Very pleased with the service Lloyd & Co provided for me
Now just got to add some items to make it my own

Congrats! I made the same move in 2017. I sold my 2014 RT and purchased a leftover 2016 F3T. I miss some things from the RT, but for the most part, the F3T just fits my riding style much better.

    Congratulations on your new ryde!!
After 55K miles on an RT, I went to a 2017 F3L and have never once regretted my decision. I love the way it handles. But, to me, the best aspect is I’m sitting “in” the F3, rather than “on” the RT, which is immensely more comfortable.
    Enjoy!!

Congrats. I also moved from a 2015 RTS to a 2017 F3L. I just felt cramped on the RT's. I'm very pleased with the F3 with the floor boards moved to the #5 position and the brake pedal lowered with LED's front and rear.

I just traded my 2010 RT for a 2019 F3T. So glad I made the switch. 1330 vs 998. So much better.

I'm jealous. When I test drove the F3, my passenger knew immediately it was not going to work for her. I could have adjusted the seat and back rest concerns but without adjustable footrests, the trade was not going to happen.
Maybe by the time of the next trade.

Is there a mechanical difference between the RT and F3? Does one have better reliability than the other?

Spyderpops makes a trunk extender that gives you 4 more inches back for the F3L. That will put the floorboards further forward. My wife hated the passenger space on the stock F3L. She was cramped and sitting on the front hump of the seat. Now she can sit back on the new pad and stretch out. You do not really feel the soft back ridge of the passenger seat.
