Primarily because they don't have the mounting hardware already in place like the L & T models do.... The hardware isn't sold separately by BRP so they can't make it available for purchase with their shields.

Might try looking at the F4 customs windshields they have them for the F3. I think they are on sale right now. Look for their link on the home page here.
Anyone know why LaMonster Garage doesn't offer the Freedom windshield for the Base or S F3?
As stated mounting hardware is the reason. Another option is Gustafsson Plastics. I have their windscreens on all our bikes including my F3s. Closest look to stock for mounting. They have been in the business of making windscreens for 50 years. www.bikescreen.com
